Proudly Celebrating Our First Century

As Hollywood’s oldest restaurant, Musso’s has been serving up the finest cuisine for 105 years. But as we celebrate a century in business and four generations of family tradition and integrity, we know our history isn’t behind us — we’re living it. The decades spent providing unparalleled service and a welcoming ambience have brought us world recognition — and made us what we are today and set the course for our future. Yes, Musso’s has always been “some place to eat.” And we’re just getting started.

Introducing Our New Book: The Musso & Frank Grill

Who hasn’t taken a seat at their Musso’s table, gazed around and thought, “If only these walls could talk..”? Well, now they are — in a new book that chronicles our first 100 years in Hollywood.

Written by Michael Callahan with an introduction by novelist Michael Connelly, The Musso & Frank Grill tells the whole story, including details about our founders, our food and our staff as well as stories of the Hollywood legends who became Musso’s regulars. This is the tale of our own rise to fame in Tinsel Town—both on and off screen. Bonus: We’ve even included a few of our most beloved recipes. Pick up your copy today.

A Toast to Family

Ever since John Mosso and his partner, Joseph Carrissimi, purchased Musso’s in 1927, it’s been a family business. Today, the families of John’s three granddaughters — Steve and Anne Jones, John and Cathy Echeverria, and Richard and Kristen Kohlmeyer — are the proud owners, with John’s great-grandson Mark Echeverria leading the fourth generation as Chief Operating Officer. It’s always been about family—and we’re keeping it that way.

Still Serving Up Perfection

For 105 years, Musso’s has been serving up classic, time-honored, freshly prepared recipes. From the original 1914 recipe for fettucine Alfredo to our mouthwatering ground beef sandwich, our classic menu hasn’t changed. We wouldn’t have it any other way, and one taste will tell you why.
